Good Bye Summer!!

Hello fall and with no sadness we saying good bye to you, summer...for at least now. Here are some highlights to my first summer. I had lots of fun with family. They were always stopping by adoring me...I can't blame them I am pretty cute! This is my uncle Big Al!! I love him!

So mommy has it in her mind that before the next baby comes I need to learn to feed myself...good luck with that one mommy...I am a princess and would like to be treated accordingly.

You have to love swim suit season at this age though! It is probably not going to be everyday of my life that I have roles and people comment that I am adorable.

Well it is officially football season around here...to stay on my daddy and papa's good side I am going to sport my support for BSU!! GO BRONCO'S!! Things have been changing around my home lately. Mommy wants to sleep all the time and daddy is so busy with school and work. But no worries peeps I am still running the home! Bed time is just a little later now :) I have not decided if I am excited about this new baby on the way...mommy tells me that the baby will love and adore me too...I guess if that is true I could handle to have him around....Well I have to run I need to go to sleep....love you all Ruby!!

I love this next video because it is ALL RUBY!! Lounging with the thumb in the mouth just chillin!!

More pics to come...just to tired right now to care....

Sleeping baby...

Recently my sweet baby was very very did I mention very sick...It broke my heart. I must start off with saying that I am the luckiest mom in the world...She has slept through the night since about 6 weeks...a good solid 12 hours kind of sleeping through the night. So this week when she became very sick...she struggled to sleep which means daddy and I struggled to sleep! I have an awesome husband that would help me walk the halls with Baby Bee in hopes of soothing her. Finally after multiple trips to the doctor she has been feeling better and the twinkle in her eyes have returned!! Grandma Green came over last night to rock her to sleep...I went to check on her before going to bed. I found her feet crossed, proped up on her little TV in the corner with her arms above her head and the blanket pulled over her head...Although completely adorable a little concerning the possibility of suffocation...so i pulled her blanket down. I went in this morning to wake her to get ready for the day and this is the adorable sight I saw...I love the little-BIG ham hock which is her thigh...I snapped the pic...I then proceeded to get a dirty look from what moments before I thought was a sweet baby....she realized it was light out and pulled the blanket over her head! Heaven help when she is a teenager :)

Grandma time...

Grandma Green comes and plays on the floor with me and reads to me...Oh how I love my grandma green!

Bless my mom for trying to give my child higher learning at 7 months...but alas she appears more content with what she can shove in her mouth....

Happy 4th of July....a little late!

I love...LOVE...love these kids! They make it all worth it at the end of the day. We went Utah to hang with Clint's family over the 4th! We had a great time. There was a carnival...where Grandma Colby spoiled all the girls!! I am discovering that is the main job besides loving but spoiling...

Ruby is attempting to steal Grandma Colby's diet coke. Clint said it was in her blood...I said no...why do I always have to be the bad guy?

Our poor Lily bug was such a trooper with her broken leg!! Clint pulled her along in the wagon. She did not complain once!

I can not believe how big Emalee is getting! She is an amazing big sister...She heads off to first grade in a few months...

WE had a great time in UTAH and love visiting with family down there...hopefully the trips won't be so far and few in between in the future!

Whats a girl to do...

Adorable hubby at church with the scouts....my perfect baby is sleeping....and there is a list of things this wife and mom should be doing. "SHOULD" being the the word that I have not mastered....there is laundry, toilets to be scrubbed, emails to be responded to, packing for our weekend road trip, and there is the garden that resembles a weed patch more than a garden...my hubby has to point out what is edible and what is a weed :) BUT alas I am not doing any of these things...What is occupying my time tonight is blog stalking....I am so impressed by the women I have surrounded my self with...What great examples they are to me....Just one pet peeve has been discovered through my stalking....Women who deliver babies while looking like they are on break from there Vogue photo shoot...REALLY GIRLS!! I look back on my pics of Ruby's big day and I wonder if anyone will notice that I look like I have been hitting the bottle for years while running 40 miles through the desert up hills both ways! My goal if I ever attempt child birth ever again is to be the Vogue model on a break. I am willing to take tips, suggestions on how to achieve such a feat. I have even considered tattooing the make up on so it is not running down my face as seen in some scary 1950 horror flick...Good times...this is what happens when a girl has to much time on her hands....Keep up the good work girls...although the bar appears to be set to high...there is always hope!

Cherry Festival

I love this pic!! Does anyone know how hard it is to get both my husband and baby to both look at the camera and to smile on top of that!!

My parents were great sports and came to the festival with us. Ruby loves them so much! I am 100% positive I know who she will run to when she wants something when she is older...it is the two saps sitting below that love and adore her so.....

Please notice the similar looks between baby and papa....there is no doubt she has "GREEN" in her!

Every year there is a Cherry Festival in a neighboring town. Last year we took the older girls and they loved it!! They had a blast. I on th eother hand was miserable from the heat, smell, and oh yeah being prego :) This year sadly the older girls missed out, hopefully they will be here next year. But we did get to introduce Ruby to the Festival. For the most part she loved it but was not a big fan of the loud noises. She did on the other hand loved my funnel cake :)
