So before any of you call CPS on me...the babies really did have fun...poor Mads was so overwhelmed by how loud it was in the pool area. This is the first time the babies have ever been a pool that was not blown up. Mads is adventurous...a few more times and she will be a fish just like her sister!

My water babies....
Maddy Pat-tats is 1!!
I will admit that I am a crazy fool when it comes to birthdays and holidays...and I am lucky enough that my husband doesn't dare say anything about my craziness in these matters. Mads turned 1 on 3/7/12. This day also marked the 3rd anniversary to my amazing and hot husband. I always imagined I would spend my anniversary in romantic settings....umm this was not what I had in mind BUT there is no where else on earth I would rather be than with my Mads on her birthday!! Happy birthday baby! Momma and dada love you more than words!!

Too BIG....
And then there was a 2 year old and a 1 year old (almost in 2 weeks-ish). We are sadly on a budget these days so I combined Ruby's 2 year old pics with Mads 1 year old pictures. Ruby turned 2 in December and Mads will turn 1 in March.
I felt like a complete failure at the photo shoot. Ruby's cooperation was minimal. Mads was not impressed with the childish sounds the photographer was making to attempt a smile. And then a miracle....10 good pictures...

I hear it all the time when they find out that I have 2 girls..."I am so sorry!" or "I will pray for you" or the classic that I hear all the time "Poor woman has no idea what she is store for when they turn teenagers". Ok people listen up I am fully aware of the drama queens living under my roof BUT I would not trade one moment of the drama. I love being a mom of girls...I love that Ruby is so ridiculous about wanting to accessorize before leaving the house. I love that she will put make up on with me. I love that she snuggles with me when Mads has gone to bed. I love that is amazing big sister! I love that Mads is not going to be part of the back ground. I love that she has found her voice and appears to be developing quite the sense of humor. I love that she wakes up talking to her zebra. I love that she will lay her head down on your shoulder and snuggle you. I love my girls!! PS...Ruby and Mads will you please stop growing...

Gym-Tastic!!
I have been looking for a dance class for Bee...Well I have not been successful. I did find Little Gym! And loved it!! Mads had a class... She was a little hesitant but I blame the raging head cold my babies have been plagued with the last 2 weeks. Mads has definitely come into her little personality and I am not sure that LITTLE is the best word to describe it. She is head strong and wants what she wants when she wants it...But that is balanced with her sweet snuggles and the constant giggling.

I am grateful!!
Clint and I recently met with the bishop. The bishop made comments that made both Clint and I stop and think. The bishop was very complimentary toward Clint. Let me preface this with nothing the bishop said was brand new information to me....I have always known that I married an amazing man and father to my children. The bishop made statements that there is not many men who would stay home with there children to avoid putting them in day care. The bishop continued to say that Clint is making a huge sacrifice for the family. I agreed whole hardheartedly with his comments. When we got home that night, Clint made the comment to me that made me speechless...Any of you that know me know this is a feat....Clint stated "What is up with the bishop tonight, its not everyday that you find a mother that is willing to sacrifice by leaving her 2 babies at home to provide for the family". I stood there wondering how it was that I was so lucky to have a husband that truly understood how hard the current arrangement has been on me. Clint and I are partners in this thing called LIFE. There is no one else that I would rather go through this life with. Our Christmas gift this year comes in a family trip to the temple to be sealed for all time and eternity. I am grateful that I have a husband that loves our babies while I have to be out of the home. Thank you Clint for loving me and loving our babies....

Just for FALL fun....
Well it id my favorite time of year...which translates to lots of new posts. Mads is starting to come into her little voice. I use the word "little" loosely. She is a big fan of her meals...It is not wise to stand in her way when it is meal time....you will be hearing about it for awhile :)
